The installation deals with concepts I find typically Finnish and also personally close to me. It consists of 2-3 tents and recorded Finnish songs and soundscapes. The songs and sounds that can be heard coming from the tents are those I would like to remember if I were to immigrate.
The performance actions are connected e.g. to the traditional and in Finland still very popular cotton rag mats. (Performance actions will happen throughout the symposium.)
